As a person who fights colitis I had colonoscopy 2x last year and will again this coming year. Very important screening,... and not as bad as people fear. I agree. Get it done!
My primary care NP wears a badge that says "cancer sucks" She told me "50 is the magic age, you have to have a colonoscopy." She did not make it an option. I had the procedure the week before Hod died. The colonoscopy was easy, losing Uncle Hod was not.

I did not know you had one at that time. That makes me feel good. Especially knowing your own family history of colon cancer.
